Suzanne Valkenburg (NL, 1981) is photographer and visual artist. In her
photographic work she searches for beauty and the basic characteristics
of human nature. Through interdisciplinary collaboration with
journalists, film makers and designers she searches for new ways of
developing conceptual visual stories. She explores the boundaries of
documentary making as an autonomous art form by presenting her work in a
combination of different contexts: from the traditional photo book, the
white cube, film to the virtual space online.
